Central Division officers were dispatched to the 3100 block of Wesleyan Dr. S. in reference to a possible shooting call. Upon arrival, officers located the victim with apparent gunshot wounds to his torso. Medical personnel attempted to resuscitate the victim but were not successful, and the victim was pronounced deceased on scene. A second gunshot victim was transported by private vehicle to an area hospital where he is currently receiving medical care. Detectives found that the shooting victims were at a party near the scene when gunshots were being fired. The victims fled the scene in a vehicle and were involved in an accident a short distance from the original scene. Homicide detectives are investigating.
