Crimes investigators are en route to a fatal crash in the 2700 block of West Orem at Almeda Rd. Preliminary information is 2 vehicles are involved in the crash and one of the drivers has been pronounced deceased.
ATCEMS said to expect traffic closures in the area as police investigate. The scene is at 12030 Dessau Road, which is just south of Parmer Lane

2 year agoHouston Police:2nd : The suspect and a SWAT officer discharged weapons. No officers hurt. The suspect is being taken to an area hospital with at least one gunshot wound.
2 year agoHouston Police:HPD commanders & PIO are at a SWAT scene in the 7400 blk of MLK Blvd at Van Fleet for an armed male suspect in a vehicle. MLK Blvd is closed in both directions.
