The electricity was cut to the building thereby affecting all 24 apartment units. 3 units were heavily damaged by fire. 1 resident was treated on scene for very minor injuries. We'd like to thank @ArlingtonTxFire for mutual aid assistance at our stations
90 firefighting personnel & 30 fire apparatuses were on scene to extinguish/contain the fire & ensure all residents made it out safely. Fire was on the 2nd & 3rd floor & spread through the roof. It took 45 minutes for the fire to be declared under control

El Paso police detectives investigating shooting death after person who was shot showed up and died at Sierra Providence East hospital. Detectives also investigating "suspicious death" at apt. in 1800 blk of Montana Ave. west of Cotton St
the fire has been declared "under control" as of 9:16PM. There are no reported injuries & all residents have been evacuated from the structure. The @RedCrossNTX is on scene to assist the displaced (unknown at this time).
