FBI bevestigt naam verdachte, ISIS-vlag in gehuurde auto, IED's: "Het onderwerp is geïdentificeerd als de 42-jarige Shamsud-Din Jabbar, een Amerikaans staatsburger uit Texas. Hij reed in een Ford pick-uptruck, die gehuurd lijkt te zijn en we werken eraan om te bevestigen hoe het onderwerp in het bezit van het voertuig is gekomen. Er werd een ISIS-vlag in de auto aangetroffen en de FBI werkt eraan om de mogelijke banden en banden van het onderwerp met terroristische organisaties te bepalen. Wapens en een mogelijke IED werden aangetroffen in de auto van het onderwerp. Andere mogelijke IED's werden ook aangetroffen in de Franse wijk. De Special Agent Bomb Technicians van de FBI werken samen met onze partners in de rechtshandhaving om te bepalen of een van deze apparaten bruikbaar is en ze zullen eraan werken om die apparaten veilig te maken."
