Dallas police arrested two suspects who fled a shooting scene and led a police on a chase Thursday night. Gunfire was exchanged between the suspects and possibly a bouncer about 10:45 p.m. at a business in the 5400 block of Jim Miller Road, police said. The suspect vehicle led police on a chase until the driver lost control on the eastbound Interstate 30 service road near S. Buckner Boulevard

A mother and her 8-month-old baby were found dead Thursday after a house fire in Taylor, police said. Police said the Taylor Fire Department responded to the fire at 2006 Brewer's Place and found Amy Baylor, 30, and Aleigha Sealey dead in the bedroom.
Police say a suspect is on the run after two people were shot Wednesday night in north Bexar County. Around 8:30 pm Wednesday, Bexar County Sheriff's deputies were called to a home in the 24000 block of Invitation Oak near Bulverde and TCP Parkway.
Cedar Park police said a teen has been arrested in connection to a crash in Cedar Park that killed two young boys on Jan. 10. On Thursday, police arrested Hayden Michael Hammer, 18, and charged him with two counts of racing on a highway causing death, a second-degree felony.

Irving police are investigating the death of an infant found dead in a dumpster. Police were alerted the afternoon of December 30 by a call from a citizen who reported finding the deceased newborn in a dumpster in the 200 block of Chamberlain Street in Irving.

Temple: Police spokesperson Shawana Neely reports that police were called to the 800 block of North 4th Street at 12:17 AM.
